Changes in jazz mindset - learning to love new things

I loved the flute in classical chamber music settings but it always sounded thin and diluted in the jazz milieu.

After years of being turned off to jazz sides/sets/albums with the flute or electric piano, I found new enjoyment hearing these things.

Of course it helps when on the flute you hear the great flautists - Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Eric Dolphy, Lloyd McNeill, Sam Rivers or Yusef Lateef.
